The Remediation Shop 5035SC™ Sampler is an economical, pre-cleaned, disposable syringe, specifically designed for soil core sampling. It has a 5 ml graduated plunger which travels the exact distance required to discharge soil samples. The 5035SC™ Samplers cost $399 for a bag of 100 with a free PVC handle and free overnight shipping. Each 5035SC™ Sampler is packaged individually in a hermetically sealed inert polyethylene bag with laboratory label attached. The 5035SC™ Sampler is approved for use in soil sampling VOC’s.
The purpose of the
EPA Method 5035 is to reduce volatilization of soil samples prior to laboratory analyses. Other methods, notably ASTM (D4547-98) have also been developed to minimize losses in volatile organic compounds (VOC) and semi-volatile organic compound (SVOC) during soil sample collection and storage.
