TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS
EBS provides free 1-hour workshops and training seminars to consultants, providing free lunches as well. EBS also designs and provides one to two day seminars and workshops on designing in-situ remediation programs. These four-hour workshops on in-situ remediation, two-phase extraction and case closure strategies have been presented at the Association for Environmental Health and Science (AEHS), Battelle conferences, the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) and at the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) national convention. In addition, week long and month long graduate classes in environmental engineering have been designed and given at universities throughout the world through the Fulbright Scholars Program. EBS provides training and workshops on in-situ delivery methods, chemical oxidation chemistry, enhanced bioremediation (aerobic and anaerobic), and metals stabilization. The lectures are given by James Jacobs, Chief Hydrogeologist and Fulbright Scholar (3 awards) as well as Jacques Guertin, Ph.D., Paul Fahrenthold, Ph.D., P.E., and Mehmet Pehlivan, P.G., C.H.G.
